SEMICON China 2025, one of the world’s largest and most influential semiconductor events, brings together leading companies across equipment, materials, design, and manufacturing. This year’s event attracts more than 180,000 visitors, marking a 13% increase compared to last year.
At this year’s exhibition, NexGen introduce to Chinese market our latest innovation SERENO, a multi-chamber wet etching and cleaning equipment compatible with 6”, 8”, and 12” wafers. With a throughput of up to 200 wafers per hour, SERENO stands out for its efficiency, modularity, and flexibility, addressing the industry’s demand for high-capacity, high-precision manufacturing. The booth drew significant attention from industry experts, customers, and partners.
In this event, we also team up for the first time with our new group member, Trymax, for a joint showcase at the same booth. By combining Trymax’s dry etching equipment with our single-wafer wet etching systems, we offer our wafer fab customers an one-stop etching solution – enhancing both production efficiency and service quality.
Driven by global supply chain shifts and localization efforts, China’s semiconductor market continues to expand. According to the China Semiconductor Industry Association, the country’s IC sales reached ¥1.3 trillion in 2023 – accounting for nearly one-third of the global market. Demand for semiconductor equipment, especially in advanced wet processing, is seeing rapid growth.
